Try to check out Samalona Island in Makassar
This is my first time to write travel article in english, please kindly understand if there are so many mistakes in this article Have you ever visit Makassar ? or What do you think about Makassar ? Maybe many people only know about Losari beach, Bunaken or coto Makassar. But, last week I had a chance to visit one of beautiful island in Makassar, called Samalona Island. This is an island apart of Makassar that only has about 2 hectares area. This island can be reached either from "Dermaga Kayu Bangkoa" near Losari or a dock in front of "Benteng Rotterdam". Only need about 30 minutes to arrive in this island by boat. The cost of the boat is IDR 450.000 - 500.000 for 5 people in one trip. If you go alone, it's better if you wait for another visitors so that it will makes cheaper cost. If the boat approached the shore, you will see a clear sea with white sands in the coast that makes your mind refreshing. You can also try snorkling around isla
